I’m back again! This time I put together a lookbook featuring some of my favourite denim pieces (before I travelled to England and fell back in love with Primark – more on that soon…).
Denim is a versatile fabric that, quite literally, goes with ~*everything*~. And that’s not an exaggeration. My favourite casual outfits normally include a great pair of jeans and whatever shirt I can find. Denim can be dressed up or dressed down, it is an easy way to look put together or a compliment to your fave statement pieces.
Here are some of the looks I put together for my #DENIMEDIT!
1 | I Woke Up Like This
Jumper – Nicole, Jeans – Vero Moda, Shoes – Adidas Originals
This outfit is super simple and super casual, but still looks put together. It is perfect for anything from running errands to catching a movie and looks more chic than throwing on leggings (but can still be comfortable). The jumper is slouchy and relaxed which keeps the vibes casual and adidas are perfect sneakers to compliment the laid back style.
Tip: The pattern style of skinny jeans mimics proper pants so they give structure to an outfit and add the illusion that you put in more effort than you have!

2 | Steve Jobs Called
Bodysuit – Boohoo, Jeans – Topshop, Shoes – Adidas Originals
Steve Job’s definitely inspired this look. A black turtle neck is a staple piece of his iconic look and these slightly baggy mom jeans add to the laid back look. While Steve usually wore new balance, I upped the style quota pairing these two items with my adidas originals. These jeans from Topshop in the style ‘Leigh’ are the most comfortable pair of jeans I’ve ever worn HANDS DOWN. Traditionally, I cuff ALL of my jeans, but you’ll notice that I left the natural hem.
Styling Option: I added a belt to this look, which makes the look more stylish and, BONUS, they also keep my pants up!
Belt – Boohoo
3 | Black [Denim] Is The New Black
Top – Boohoo, Skirt – H&M, Shoes – Betts for Her
Probably one of my favourite buys this year: this fabulous black denim midi skirt from H&M! I wanted to keep this look all black for a minimal and monotone look. A midi skirt is typically very feminine and elegant, but the material and cheeky slit add a somewhat edgy and cool vibe (also very on trend!). I also love that the hem is slightly frayed – I just can’t with this skirt sometimes! The t-shirt makes the look laid back, but then you’re confused thanks to those killer shoes.
Accessories: With a monotone outfit, chose something patterned or colourful! I added my rose gold purse and leopard print sunnies, but zebra striped bag and maybe silver jewellery would also look bomb!
Clutch – Rubi Shoes
4 | Fancy Pants
Top – Temt, Jeans – Vero Moda, Shoes – Rubi Shoes
Another turtle neck! I love this knitwear piece, it is just really sophisticated and a perfect item to dress up a pair of jeans. I’d feel comfortable going for drinks with the girls or maybe even date night. Also, these open-toed lace up ankle boots add an element of glamour and increase the overall style of the outfit. I felt that a clutch or hand purse would be the way to go, in this case less would be more! A huge handbag can dress the look back down by making the outfit busy and gives on-the-go vibes rather than VIP, or “it’s in here somewhere” rather than “I’m on the list”.
Tip: When dressing up jeans, it is crucial to have a fancy top! An OTT shirt can also be dressed down with jeans, but cute enough to still look fancy.

5 | #TRENDING – Embroidery
Top – Boohoo, Jeans – Temt, Shoes – Betts for Her
Back at it again with my favourite embroidered jeans (find them featured here too)! After being in London for a week, it is all too clear that embroidery is definitely #TRENDING. It is everywhere and I love it! You’ve seen these jeans before, but this time I’ve paired them as the statement around this cute black top and black ankle boots. The detail on the jeans adds a layer of effortless style and is undeniably super cute.
There we have it! I hope you liked this latest lookbook! After I did the shoots for this a fave of mine, Danielle Peazer, also put out a #DENIMEDIT lookbook which I will link here! Let me know which looks were you favourite and check out my other lookbooks! I’m posting this from Sweden as I prepare for university so prepare for a little change in the way things have typically looked. I have so many cool projects that I can’t wait to share (and start).
