Sooo, hopefully by now you’ve seen that I have, in fact, started my YouTube channel with a travel vlog about my trip from Sweden to Australia. I couldn’t help myself, there was so much more I wanted to say that I didn’t want to fit in the description box or record for the video, so I thought I would just write them here.
Here’s the video!
I have always admired and been inspired by the people that I know, the same age as me who I went to high school with that do YouTube and make a brand of themselves. It just seems insane! It takes a lot of courage and thick skin to be able to subject yourself to the wide world of the internet. The internet is great: you can easily book flights, find entertainment sources, connect with friends, but there are some not so great things about it too. I’ve feared the impending judgment and I’m all too aware that not everyone will have positive things to say, factors that have held me back. However, with a little support from my friends and a little push from myself, I uploaded my first video!
I’ve always wanted to make YouTube content and I’ve known that YouTube would be part of my career path. Online bloggers and magazine’s usually have extra video content to connect with their audience and show their content in a different way. I like editing videos and being creative and I just wanted to try to see what could happen. With this video, I thought it would be a good trial run for my editing skills and a little bit of fun for a simple first video.
Anyways, I couldn’t be more excited to share this with you and proud that I finally posted a video! No idea exactly where this is leading, but I’m happy to have made a start.
Thanks for sticking with me on this journey!
